Teachin in the Primary Week 1

Hey Everyone!

Since this family blog is so we can keep each other updated on our lives, I thought I would write about our first Sunday as primary teachers. Will and I teach the 7-year-olds. There are technically 6 boys and 1 girl, but Sunday we just had 4 boys and 1 girl. The first week went pretty well. Like all kids that age they have a hard time sitting still and not talking about completely random things that don't apply to the lesson. Although they have lots of energy (which many of you know I don't always have a lot of), I've decided as long as they listen when we tell them they need to be quiet, I'll take it. Of course they begin talking in about 3 minutes, but I'll take the short moments of silence. I think we're both grateful for sharing time though. :-)

On another note, Will has started school again, which makes things busier, but it's good. I am always amazed at his ability to go to school full-time while working full-time. And so we begin the new year with plenty to do. :-) We hope you are all having a great start to the new year!

Love you!

Liz :-)
